Behold…an empty tank?
Not at all.
Though invisible to the eye, living organisms that have supported Earth’s ecosystem for eons thrive within it.

They are algae.
Algae originated approximately 3.5 billion years ago.
They evolved in water, and around 500 million years ago, some made their way onto land.
As they continued to evolve, their remains accumulated underground over millions of years, eventually transforming into fossil fuels like petroleum and coal.

Inside this tank lives a species of algae called Botryococcus.
Today, it is gaining attention as a promising alternative to petroleum.

Ahead of you lies an algae wonderland—seemingly quiet, but possessing astonishing potential.
Let’s go see what it holds.
